We have English, Irish and Scottish versions of each product. The Irish version will have the cost of living in the Irish currency and there will be some Irish World and sporting news. The only difference in the Scottish version is the Scottish FA results instead of the English FA results.
This has seven main areas covering some fascinating facts:-
World news - This includes the news from that day, your birthday. It will also include any main medical advances i.e. in 1968 the Epidural for childbirth was introduced. There is usually an invention. (in 1968 it was Automatic watering kits!). Reigning monarch, US president, latest royal birth, Prime minister and Opposition leader are also under this heading.
Biography - Most (not all) first names have a meaning and we list this. We also list what the actual birthday meaning is i.e. Monday = Moon Day (but you knew that, didn\'t you). Chinese year sign and meaning, Birth stone, Flower, Colour, Planet and meaning, lucky numbers (we all need these :-) and who shares your birthday (on the 18th November 1968 it was Mickey Mouse and Kim Wilde!
Entertainment - The Most popular - Film, Band, Singer, Song, Musical, Trend. Male & Female Oscar winners, UK babies born (boys and girls). Nobel Prize winner and 'Baby talk', little known facts where babies are concerned.
Sport - Winners of - Grand National, Golf: British open, Cricket, Rugby, Wimbledon (men & women), World snooker champ, Heavyweight boxing champ and the FA cup. In the Scottish version, the FA cup is the only information that is changed and reflects the Scottish FA winner.
Cost of living - From the date of your birthday to the current years cost of living, we compare - A pint of beer, loaf of bread, pound of butter, newspaper, 3 bedroomed house, average car, inflation rate, yearly wage, gallon of petrol (six old shillings and six old pence a gallon in 1968!), 20 cigarettes and the Dollar to the Pound.
Characteristics - A general description based on your birthday.
Virtues - Descriptive, such as - Magnetic, brave, constructive etc.

What happened on the day you were married.
The information is similar to 'What happened on the day you were born' except that there are two Biographies, two Characteristics and an abridged World and Entertainment news.
What happened on the day your baby was born.
The only difference from 'What happened on the day you were born' is that, as there cannot really be a comparison of the cost of living, this is replaced by the Baby's birth details i.e. Name, where the baby was born, what was the babies weight and the time of birth. A lovely informative keepsake.
Database updates. The information in our program is updated every two weeks, once at the beginning of the month and around the 18th of the month, so our information is only ever up to two weeks out of date.
